Performed from cost and effect data on the literature and databases, when available. It is designed according to the “Methodological Guidelines for economic evaluation studies of health technologies.”
BUDGET IMPACT STUDIES
Report containing a budget impact study from the methods of economic evaluation of financial consequences arising from the adoption of a new health technology within a given scenario. Presupposes the existence of available data on cost-effectiveness and estimated coverage. It is prepared in accordance with the “Methodological Guidelines for Budget Impact Analysis: Handbook for the Health System in Brazil”, the Ministry of Health.
