Is there a better alternative than the SUS (brazilian health system) for pharmaceutical assistance?

In the last decades, public spending on health has been growing at a faster pace than the Gross Domestic Product – GDP in many countries. The increasing trend of spending associated with the economic crisis has led countries to adopt copayment policies as the main tool to minimize or seek to solve this problem.

This video will address the major pharmaceutical care models in the world. It was produced by CCATES / UFMG for the opening of the International Panel on Health and Medicines Policies held at the Faculty of Pharmacy of the Federal University of Minas Gerais from March 19 to 23, 2018. The panel was discussed if there is a better alternative than the current Brazilian model for pharmaceutical assistance, based on the experience of international models.
